Dr. Stickney is a former collegiate soccer player who’s goal is to improve the life of those in severe pain, while utilizing collaboration with multiple disciplines as we transition into a new era of healthcare and wellness.
A crucial aspect of Dr. Stickney’s education was learning the importance of treating the soft tissue aspect of the musculoskeletal injury. In addition to his chiropractic education Dr. Stickney specializes in Active Release Technique (ART®); a unique, reputable, comprehensive soft tissue management system. Along with ART®, he includes stabilization with active physical therapy modalities, rehabilitation exercises, and RockTape. This approach, coupled with chiropractic treatment, makes it possible for patients to experience lasting and self-sustained relief from chronic aches and pains.
Dr. Stickney earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree, graduating from Cleveland Chiropractic College in December of 2010. Prior to Cleveland, Dr. Stickney graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Honors Biology from Doane College in Crete, NE. He is also a proud Kearney High School alumnus.
Since 2010, Dr. Stickney has had the opportunity to provide injury treatment and prevention to patients in the clinic setting, as well as at large companies such as Baldwin Filters, West Pharmaceuticals, Tyson Foods and BluePrint Engines.
In order to stay current on the ever-evolving world of health care in the United States, Dr. Stickney is an active member of the American Chiropractic Association and the Nebraska Chiropractic Physicians Association as these two organizations push to coordinate a wellness and prevention revolution of the health care paradigm.
