Dr. Sears is the newest Doctor of Chiropractic to join the team at Elite Chiropractic & Physical Therapy, and is proud to serve the Kearney area in 2021 and beyond.
While working with Dr. Sears, patients can expect an individualized comprehensive approach to care. Research has shown that better outcomes are achieved when chiropractic manipulation, soft tissue techniques, and rehabilitation exercises are combined into a targeted treatment plan. Dr. Sears has dedicated countless hours beyond standard curriculum to attending seminars for cutting edge manual medicine techniques such as instrument assisted soft tissue treatment, dry needling, taping, and functional movement assessments. These methods help patients experience sustainable pain relief and independence.
Dr. Sears earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Cleveland University – Kansas City, while graduating top of his class with Valedictorian and Summa Cum Laude honors. Dr. Sears holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Nutrition, Exercise, and Health Sciences, which he earned from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln. He is proud of his unique opportunity to attend Axtell High School, while also graduating from Kearney High School in 2013.
The chiropractic profession and health care industries are constantly progressing forward towards a healthy lifestyle and preventative care model. Therefore, Dr. Sears understands the importance of being an active member of the American Chiropractic Association and the Nebraska Chiropractic Physicians Association. He has personally advocated for his patients in Washington, D.C., each of the last three years, and plans to continue his work on their behalf.
Dr. Sears and his wife, Macy, are excited to become active members of the community in Kearney and the surrounding areas. Macy works as an Orthodontic Assistant at Longo Family Orthodontics. Together, Dr. Sears and his wife enjoy life with their two huskies, Mila and Kira. On the weekends, they love spending time with family and friends, outdoor activities, and attending events such as concerts and shows.
